The leading American specialty retailer of lingerie and beauty products has opened a new outlet, Victoria’s Secret Beauty & Accessories concept store at Fashion Avenue in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL on Tuesday.

In partnership with the Valiram Group, this is Victoria’s Secret third outlet in Malaysia. The first opened in December last year at the Satellite Terminal of Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang, Selangor while the second opened on Aug 27 at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

Seen at the evening launch at Pavilion KL local celebrities including TV personalities Aishah Sinclair and Joanne De Rozario, and Miss Malaysia Tourism 2011 Aileen Gabriella Robinson, and from Valiram Group senior marketing manager Joanna de Silva and marketing executive Krystle Van Dijk.

The concept stores offer access to an assortment of the bestselling Victoria’s Secret Beauty products including fun and flirty prestige fragrances, such as the iconic Victoria’s Secret Bombshell and the newest fragrance, Body by Victoria, as well as the popular scented VS Fantasies body care range.

This exclusive collection of accessories includes Victoria’s Secret branded luggage, bags and cosmetic cases all available in different colours, styles and prints.

This season, the brand offers new fabrications and glittering finishes along with new shapes and sizes for every occasion.

Founded in 1977 in San Francisco, California, US, Victoria’s Secret is one of the world’s most popular lingerie brands and always appears at the top of the must-visit shops list for tourist coming to the US.

The present line-up of stunning models includes Adriana Lima (Brazil), Alessandra Ambrosio (Brazil), Behati Prinsloo (Namibia), Candice Swanepoel (South Africa), Chanel Iman (US), Doutzen Kroes (Netherlands), Erin Heatherton (US), Izabel Goulart (Brazil), Lily Aldridge (US), Lindsay Ellingson (US) and Miranda Kerr (Australia).

The launching of the Pavilion outlet was a slight disappointment as some of us were expecting a set-up nearly as glamorous as the must-watch fashion event of the year — the Victoria’s Secret infamous theatrical runway shows during which the hottest models show-off their best assets and strut on the catwalk in the brand’s sexy undergarments and huge feathered angel wings.

What happened instead was another exciting socialite party to announce the new store and display their collection during which no media photographers were allowed.

Their Pavilion outlet has the usual range of colourful and lacy women’s undergarments, beauty care, fragrance, makeup, bath and body products.

Still, owning a pair of Victoria’s Secret lingerie is always exciting and the store is a definite must-visit for everyone.
