Chi Hao Dian Dim Sum Yum Cha, Kuchai Lama

The restaurant is most commonly visited by the local Malaysians and also by the tourists. Chi Hao Dian Dim Sum Yum Cha offers a pleasant atmosphere appropriate for families, friends, and couples. The seating arrangement is cosy and comfortable. Apart from the regular menu they served, they specialized in the preparation of dim sum which are dumplings with juicy pork filling. They prepare a large variety of dim sums. The long menu caters to the demands of both non vegetarians and vegetarians. The desserts are delicious which are blend of European and Chinese preference.

Kinda impressed, tastefully renovated interior à la restaurants in China using mainly marble tables and stools. Female servers dressed in modern cheongsam. Indeed giving a different feel when dine at this dim sum restaurant compared to the others. It provides an extraordinary feel due to it's decor.

Maybe I am more selective on dim sum, I felt that the dim sum tasted so-so only; not in particular to shout about.

For a simple two person, the bill comes up as RM72 nett.

Thai Food Stall, Pandan Perdana

If you are looking for a value Thai Food stall, this one will be a good choice for you. Small stall but it really does worth the penny.

The whole medium size Tom Yam Talapia fish, a claypot of red curry with 2 white rice only at RM20. Fits just nice for 2 persons.

Tom Yam Talapia fish at RM13 and Red Curry claypot at RM6. So, I assume that a bowl/ plate of white rice at RM0.50. Indeed, so difficult to get a bowl/plate of white rice at RM0.50. Many charged at RM1 or RM1.50 each. However, maybe we are used to be robbed on every meal on a daily basis.

The most important, not only value for money but also much acceptable on the taste and recommended on his cooking skill. I will definitely be back for more to try out their other dishes available.

The stall situated at the hawker center at Pandan Perdana; opposite road of 1Shamelin Mall. The particular food court is known as "The Two Big Prawn" (Peng Hwa).

The Red Curry RM6

OK Restaurant, Pandan Perdana

Out of many restaurants/coffee shop located at Pandan Perdana, this one is one of those with many choices. Consist of many individual stalls and the best part was, most stalls here sells nice, yummy hawker food with reasonable price.

The wanton mee, fish head noodle, nasi lemak & fried kuey teow are those that I like most. Recently, there is a new stall available; selling some grill Thai pork, scallops, duck meat and popiah. This is one interesting new member on board together with a lot more choices in the coffee shop.

Different food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nevertheless to say, this palce always crowded with frequent diners around. If you are going to drop by and try out some of the food there, it's easy to locate; the coffee shop is just situated in behind Hong Leong Bank, the corner coffee shop.

Wondermama, Bangsar Village

2015 is a happy year for me, especially on this year's birthday, I am thankful to know a bunch of lovely colleagues and bosses whom I have. This time round, we are celebrating May babies birthday and farewell to one of our sweet colleagues.

The gang decided to have it at Wondermama, Bangsar Village. I have heard of this place for quite some time but do not have a chance trying out on them. I missed out the first time round due to that time, clashes with my food review on going at that time.

This place is packed with reservations, you can see people celebrating their birthdays there.

Wondermama is a vibrant, contemporary and creative Malaysian restaurant that brings a sophisticated twist to the traditional local flavors and casual dining. Since it was established in 2012, it received an overwhelming response from both local customers and international audience. Our flagship outlet in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur quickly became one of the most beloved restaurants in the city, which inspired to bring the traditional Malaysian delicacies and multicultural food philosophy to the world.

The Wondermama Concept is all about enjoying delightful food and friendly service in bright and contemporary settings, brought together by a team of Malaysian chefs and creative minds from Hong Kong and Germany. Concept is based on a mix of colonial design and industrial chic, creating an atmosphere full of old charm and contemporary simplicity.

They served Malaysian food, but in kinda unique way. I love the way they did it. Deserves a frequent hang-out visit.

Moonlight Cake House, Sri Petaling,KL

Another branch of Moonlight Cake House after successful venture originated from Johor Bahru. Personally, I visited their branch in JB quite some time ago and I am kinda loving their cakes. Not too sweet.

I am delighted when I found out that they got a branch in Sri Petaling, just recently, I visited them on my birthday. My good expectation turned out to be kinda disappointment. Business is good and they are indeed busy. Maybe their service staffs including their supervisor should undergo some training on customer service. If you are there, don't mind about their services at all, then it will be a good choice. If not, think twice.

Total blur in handling customers, on the bakery side which situated on the ground floor- when I am asking about a la carte, the supervisor answered me about halal cert. They are totally clueless in attending to customers needs. Getting the enquiry wrong was just one of the many which happened in 10mins time (I meant those on the G Floor, bakery section).

While, on the first floor is their cafe which have better services by the service staff, not the cashier; as clueless as those on the G Floor.

On the a la carte served, I like their scallops. That is one thing I enjoyed the most; overall, I am giving them 5/10. If I am going back there another time, it will be only because of the scallop and nothing else.
